Some of Ron's articles (especially from The Californians and from American Heritage) have been abstracted in ABC-Clio's America: History and Life; two of his books are Romualdo Pacheco: A Californio in Two Eras (Book Club of California: 1985) and Darn Right it's Butch (Morgin Press, 1994); in 1996 McFarland Press produced his Theda Bara: A Biography of the Silent Screen Vamp, with a Filmography.
