I have been a big JUDD fan since I was 9 yrs old. I can remember standing in front of the tv watching The Judds video Mama He's Crazy for the first time. I was hooked from that point. I liked the fact their music was so personable and real. And the fact they are goofy redheads!!! (like me)

Why am I a big fan of the Judds??? I can't really explain it in words. There is just this connection I feel to them and their music. They inspire me to dream and believe that I could do anything. Wynonna seems so down to earth and personal. She seems like any other person, except she has a beautiful gift of song.

In 1991, The Judds as a duo broke up due to Naomi's failing health from Chronic active Hepatitis C. Wynonna went on to a successful solo tour. I never got the chance to see The Judds in concert before they split up. I was close once to getting to see them on their farewell tour in Omaha. My friend Jody had tickets but couldn't go. I wanted to, but had been on a waiting list to have my Scoliosis back surgery for three months. The date of my surgery was at the same time as the concert. I had to make the choice between my surgery or going to the concert and waiting another six months or a year to get a new surgery date. I took the surgery. It was a hard decision. The surgery was the best thing for me. But I regretted never getting to see the Judds in concert when they were a duo.

It was a dream of mine to see them in concert. One I thought would never come true.

In 1991 Wynonna started a solo career after her mom retired from the music biz due to hepatitis.
My first concert of hers I went to was on October 23, 1992.
Here is my review of her concert on August 27, 1993

Every time I see her I think, "She sings like an angel."

One of my dreams was to maybe meet Naomi and Wynonna someday so I can tell them how much their music has meant to me. But if that day ever comes I am afraid the only thing I will be able to do is stand there and cry.

On March 11 and 12, 2000, I found out dreams really do come true. I got to meet the Judds and see them on their reunion tour! Here is my review of that wonderful weekend.

On June 17,2001 I flew down to Nashville for Wynonna's fan club party. I got to meet Wynonna long enough to get my picture taken. I didnt get to say all the things I wanted to say. Just hi. The picture on the top of the page is from that day.

On Aug 9, 2003 I won a backstage pass to meet Wynonna thru her fanclub. I was sooo exicited. The meet N greet didnt happend until after the concert. I was so ready to jump out of my skin. hehe I got to talk to her a few minutes. I got to tell her what I wanted. The bottom picture on the left is from that night. Afterwards Wy went out and greeted our family memembers waiting for us outside the building. So my mom got to met her too. It was too kewl.

My favorite songs of The Judds are: GRANDPA, WHY NOT ME, RIVER OF TIME, and GUARDING ANGELS.
My favorite songs of Wynonna's are: THE OTHER SIDE, AND HEAVEN HELP MY HEART!
My newest favorite song is off of her album "The Other Side" called COME SOME RAINY DAY it reminds me of my "sis".

Here are some links of other sites with information on Wynonna. Please check them out.
