A Little About Me

MY INTERESTS:   Music, Songwriting (Member NSAI), Health topics (including alternative treatments, massage, how to prevent kidney stones [ouch!] & the like), Photography (favorite subjects: my wife, my granddaughter, other people, outdoor scenes of all kinds, etc.) The Good Book, the Caribbean (though I haven't been there yet).

FAVORITES: SINGER/SONGWRITERS:  Jack Tannehill, Bob Dylan, Melanie, Steve Forbert -- ACTORS:    Kurt Russell, (I'll think of some more later) -- PLACES I'VE LIVED:    Vermont, California -- PLACES I'VE BEEN TO :   Kauai (Hawaii), Nova Scotia -- PLACES TO RELAX:   the beach, the desert, on a massage table (while getting a massage of course), in front of the stereo listening to some great music -- FRAGRANCES:   My own true love's perfume, pumpkin pie, vanilla, a rainstorm -- SIGHTS:   My wife (see Song of Solomon 7:1-3), mountains, flowers, butterflies, etc. -- WHAT THRILLS ME:   Writing an original song -- A GREATER THRILL:   Getting a song published, recorded by a big star and sold to a zillion people -- ULTIMATE THRILL:   Making someone else's day, being with friends, feeling loved and loving others.

FAULTS:   I can be negative & cynical, a perfectionist, a champion of the underdog (that can be a fault) -- the list goes on but I have to keep some things confidential you know!

I WOULD LIKE TO BE:   Able to sing -- Able to play an instrument without having to spend the time learning -- A better husband -- A better father -- A "people person" -- Everyone's friend -- Less misunderstood -- Myself (without ANY concern over what others think) -- Sure that I won't get another kidney stone (ouch again!) -- Alive 2000 years from now -- Able to make this list shorter
