Welcome to the Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute page. I've set up this page to honor the greatest southern band of all time. I started out to write a biography on the band, but after I went to the Skynyrd web page there was no reason to. So instead, I've just included some pictures and links to the Freebird Foundations homepage. Please visit the link below to find out more about the band.

The Freebird Foundation was founded in 1990 by Judy and Melody VanZant to honor Ronnie VanZant. Proceeds received by the foundation go to help expand construction on on the Ronnie VanZant Memorial Park, and scholarships for Jacksonville area youth. Please help support this worthy cause.

Well y'all, I got to see my first Skynyrd concert on June 19th in Charlotte. It was the best concert I'd ever been to in my life!! If you've never seen 'em in concert you need to go! They shouldn't even call it a concert, it's more of an experience. They started playing "Sweet Home Alabama", and a huge Confederate flag filled the back of the stage. I just took of my hat and saluted dixie!

"Twenty" is the name of Skynyrd's new album. If you ain't got it, you need it. There is a remake of "Travelin' Man" where Johnny sings along with the original recordings of Ronnie. There are eleven new tracks including "Voodoo Lake", "Bring It On", and "Outlaws, Renagades, Rebels On The Run." It's there first release on the CMC International label, so go out there and buy it!!
