Info : This was not Shaun's first available solo-recording - in 1992, a cassette tape was released by Tex-Mex Music, entitled 'The Last Honky Tonk Vol.2'. Shaun performed a soft ballad on it, accompanied by Kevin Smith on string bass, a fiddle- and a pedal-steel guitar player. The trax on this tape were recorded live at 'Henry's Bar & Grill' in Austin / TX, U.S.A., which is now closed and was the 'in' place for fans of traditional Honky Tonk music. HIGH NOON were regulars at this bar. They even dedicated their LP 'Rocks Me Right' to 'Henry's Bar & Grill'.

Info : Beginners should be familiar with left-hand technique and the basics of bass-playing, as this video starts from there. This tape made me eager to try it out myself, I'm currently shopping for a good second-hand string bass to start slapping myself ..... hope I do better than I did playing the guitar
