Willie Lewis, sporting a HIGH NOON t-shirt ( GIF )  Info : Willie Lewis, founder, owner and producer of the ROCK-A-BILLY RECORD COMPANY, also sound-engineer and recording artist for the same label, can be regarded as the 'Sam Phillips' of the 90s. Although his first release dates back to May / June '82, he was about to let the label 'die' when he met Sean, Shaun and Kevin. Their sound literally blew him away, and he decided to record them for his label. HIGH NOON already had the 'Show & Dance' LP released and Willie's first issue was the pre-recorded 4-track-EP 'Train Of Misery' ( R-107 ). It was followed by the legendary 78rpm 'Baby Let's Play House' 10'' single ( R-110-X ) and 'Hold Me Baby' 7'', which was the first recording Willie made of them himself ( actually, in his living room ). All songs on their 'Rocks Me Right' LP ( R-1002-LP ) were also pre-recorded, except for 'Crazy Fever', which was taped in Willie's living room the same day 'Hold Me Baby' and 'All Night Long' were recorded. The rest is history .....

Info : This track is one of eight that were recorded for EXILE Records, Berlin / Germany. Four of these trax were deemed unuseable soundwise, hence a second session was held in November 1993, producing six more trax, all of which make up the 'Texas Style' 10'' EP. This track is one of the 'good' ones from the first session, the other three are still 'in the can' and will hopefully be released someday .....
