GOD BLESS THE USA
sung by Lee Greenwood

If tomorrow all the things were gone
I'd worked for all my life,
And I had to start again
With just my children and my wife,
I'd thank my lucky stars
To be livin' here today.
Cause the flag still stands for freedom
And they can't take that away.

AND I'M PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN
WHERE AT LEAST I KNOW I'M FREE
AND I WON'T FORGET THE MEN WHO DIED
WHO GAVE THAT RIGHT TO ME
AND I GLADLY STAND UP NEXT TO YOU AND DEFEND HER STILL TODAY
CAUSE THERE AIN'T NO DOUBT I LOVE THIS LAND
GOD BLESS THE USA

From the lakes of Minnesota
To the hills of Tennessee
Across the plains of Texas
From sea to shining sea
From Detroit down to Houston
And New York to LA
Well there's pride in every American Heart
And it's time we stand and say

THAT I'M PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN
WHERE AT LEAST I KNOW I'M FREE
AND I WON'T FORGET THE MEN WHO DIED
WHO GAVE THAT RIGHT TO ME
AND I GLADLY STAND UP NEXT TO YOU AND DEFEND HER STILL TODAY
CAUSE THERE AIN'T NO DOUBT I LOVE THIS LAND

AND I'M PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN
WHERE AT LEAST I KNOW I'M FREE
AND I WON'T FORGET THE MEN WHO DIED
WHO GAVE THAT RIGHT TO ME
AND I GLADLY STAND UP NEXT TO YOU AND DEFEND HER STILL TODAY
CAUSE THERE AIN'T NO DOUBT I LOVE THIS LAND
GOD BLESS THE USA

These two pictures have been frequent emails coming through my email. These and several more pictures have so much meaning to me I had to display them here as well.

Iwojima and the WTC Cleanup Sites and An Eagle with a tear with the two burning towers.

September 11, 2001 will go down as a day I (and the whole nation) will never, never forget. Here's my story on that unforgetful and tragic day:

I woke up in a great mood (and for those of you that know me...I hate getting up in the mornings...and I'm never in a good mood in the mornings)was listening to the radio (like I always do) 94.5 Max Country was coming through my speakers and I hear a couple of the D.J.s announce some Late Breaking News...The News Director comes across and says that a plane has just hit the North Tower of the World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan in New York. Just then my phone rings, and it was my Mom asking me to turn on the T.V. The Today show on KTGF NBC to be exact, just then I see the second plane hit the South Tower of the World Trade Center. Watching that plane actually turn towards the tower I knew it wasn't an accident, and I couldn't believe what I had just seen or what I was hearing. I got off the phone with my Mom and headed straight for work. I wasn't sure if any of the guys that I worked with had heard what had happened.

After showing my Base I.D. (knowing I was probably going to)I zoomed on into work. Not knowing until I looked in my rearview mirror and watching the front gates closing (not letting anyone off or on) that another plane had just crashed into the Pentagon. I get to work and my Cell Phone goes off. It was Mom again telling me about the Pentagon. I asked the three guys that I work with (only two were in the office at the time. The supervisor was in a meeting in a Locked Down Bldg) if they had heard the news. That's when the radio's came on and the computers were trying to bring in Live News Feed. That's when I saw those two remarkable building that made the NY Skyline what it was crumble / pancake / collapse down to nothing but rubble and dust. Not only did it break my heart to watch all those people run, but it broke my spirit as well. To know that one of these days I would have seen that skyline as luminous as it was to seeing what it is now.

I went through Eight agonizing hours of watching and listening to this horror come across my Computer Screen with no lunch. I really thought I was watching what looked to me (and to many others so I've heard) a Horror Flick. To this day I have yet to take a lunch hour yet.

I was told Wednesday, September 12, 2001 that I had a friend in the WTC South Tower during the first attack. I was a lot stronger than I expected to be when I received the email then the phone call. I however have since found out (Saturday after the attack, to be exact) that she's O.K. physically, but does have some respiratory problems. She was founded at the Armory Friday or Saturday afternoon. I found out she was O.K. Sunday morning, when I also found out her brother was one of the thousands of volunteer firefighter's working amongst all that rubble and remains of the WTC's. What a miracle, on my end...but for of you reading this w/ lost loved ones missing or who have perished due to this tragedy...My prayers and thoughts are with you and your families.

This web page address was emailed to me Septmeber 21, 2001. This one brought tears to my eyes. Thanks Rodeogirl for sending this page on to me. Here is another Tribute Site to this great country we call America...(Click on this here USA Teddy Bear) If you have any web pages that you have come across please feel free to email them to me or post them in one of my many guest books. I will get them up on this page as soon as I can. Thank You all for all of your support for America...and I'm proud to call all of you my FRIENDS.

As I was searching on the web Sept. 21, 2001 - 10 days after the attack - for some pictures I came across this page that also shows America Mourning from the beginning (Sept. 11, 2001) to the present(today).

Here is another site that I put together just to let everyone know that although this can happen in America...we hope it won't happen again. There's also links on this page that lets us help in this time of tragedy. We are strong and we will Survive. Some of the pictures will bring back lots of terrible memories, so if you don't want to view this page I totally understand. I, however; wanted to make my memories of those terrible attacks live on through my pages.

Yet another site that came to me several days after the attack. This came from our newsletter here at work.

If you would like to make your own America page and would like some of the graphics that I have on this page; I found most of them at this address (Click on the stars here) Have fun searching and let me know what you come up with.

These pages are constantly being updated and probably will be for a very very long time. If you know of any other pictures or web pages that will be good on this page please let me know. I'd be honored to show them on this page to let everyone know just how much the USA stands united and stands together and means to me and all Americans. Thank you for visiting my pages and please come again.

You are listening to God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood. I have so many wonderful patriotic songs to choose from, that when I got ready to do this page this one seemed to stand out the most. I have loved this song ever since it came out and now that this tragedy has happened it hits home even more. I have a new saying ever since Sept. 11, 2001, and that is: I'm proud to be a Montanan and I'm even prouder to be an American. God Bless the USA and God Bless all American's...Let Freedom Ring From Sea To Shining Sea.

This is the same address as the Flag Ribbon above. I thought it was interesting and wanted to include it on this page as well.
