Being a great wine lover, for me this page simple would not be complete without a wine section... My personal favorites are the California Chardonnay and Zinfandel wines.

California arguably possesses some of the world's finest wineries. Viticulture regions are generally divided into three areas:

1. North and Central Coast regions
2. Great Central Valley region
3. Southern California region

The North and Central Coast region produces the best Californian wines. The two best-known areas within this region are the Napa and Sonoma valleys. According to John R. Walker, San Diego professor in restaurant management, the wines from these regions have rivaled and even exceeded French and other European wines. The Chardonnays and Cabernets are particularly outstanding.
