Colin James is an artist that I have enjoyed
for a long time.
He has several albums out and is working on a
new one as of November 1999.
Colin is an accomplished songwriter, singer
and guitarist.
It was in 1988 that Colin James burst onto
the Canadian music scene with his debut album.
It was pure rock and roll, played with a zest
and a raucous attitude that few soft-spoken
Canadians were used to.
Not yet out of his teens, James was singled out
by the late Stevie Ray Vaughan,
the premier blues guitarist of his age, to go on tour.
Quickly, he counted Albert Collins, Buddy Guy,
Bonnie Raitt and Keith Richards among his friends.
