Our Son Tommy

Tommy
Tommy came into my life,
right from the Heavens,
on October 27, 1997.
He is the light of my life.
Tommy has taught me how to live,
love and laugh again,
and because of that he has
taught me the meaning of life.
He is an old and wise spirit.
Tommy always seems to know when
I need to laugh and how to stay
near when I need to cry.
There is no one in this world
that could measure up to the
love I feel for my son.
I hope that I can live up
to the meaning of the word
"Mother" for him.
He is 2 years old and is energetic,
happy and did I mention energetic?
He has a warped sense of humor
and talks up a storm when he wants to.
I love you, Son,
I hope that I can give
you a wonderful, safe and
happy childhood like I had.
