Chapter Nineteen!~Judy
Taker stared at Judy from across the small court room. It tore at him that she had to go through this shit. Good thing about all this, he'd be a free man when this day was over! Thank God for that! And SHE couldn't look at him! He grinned to himself in spite of all the lies his wife was telling!
Judy could no more prevent her face from turning crimson, than she could stop breathing. She knew Taker's eyes were on her, yet she refused to look in his direction. She couldn't! If she met those compelling green eyes, then every one in this court room, would know her feelings for this man!
FINALLY! She was free to leave! Taker had his divorce, and she had been made to feel like dirt! Judy had nearly made it to her car, when his voice stopped her in her tracks.
"Judy, wait! Will you have dinner with me?" He asked quietly, his eyes holding hers.
She started to say no, but then thought better of it. Silently studying his eyes intently for several minutes, with a heavy sigh, she finally answered. "Yes, I think that would be a good idea. We need to talk!" Her voice held a hint of weariness, but was every bit as soft as his.
They talked a few more minutes before parting company. She agreed to him picking her up at home. She watched as he turned and walked back to the black truck he had driven and could not prevent the sigh that escaped her. The sight of his big heavily muscled body did that to her.
Several hours later, they were shown to a private table near the window overlooking one of the most breathtaking views she had ever seen. Yet there was nothing in the new green valley to hold her interest. Spring had come early to this place she now, called home, with new growth and young buds easily visible.
"You look wonderful! He said huskily. At the sound of his voice, her troubled eyes met his. What would he say when he heard what she had to tell him.
"Thank you! I have something to tell you! I'm pregnant!" Judy's soft voice and level gaze told him she spoke the truth.
"When?" He asked as he played with his salad fork, his gaze never leaving hers.
"That last night! When you stayed because of the snow!" She watched his reaction to her news rather anxiously. EVERYTHING depended on his reaction.
His devastatingly beautiful smile started off as a mere twitching of his lips, then became a little bigger, a little bigger, till finally he laughed out loud! The huge man was out of his chair and grabbing her up in his massive arms. His kiss was one of sheer happiness!
"This truly IS a night for celebrating!" He was ecstatic! Never had he been happier than he was right now!
Judy could only stare at him, relieved he was happy about this. Taker returned to his chair and ordered champagne with which to celebrate.
"Kane, would you mind if we paid Judy a visit? I know we planned to spend the next three days here, but I'm worried about her. She hasn't returned any of my calls or replied to any of my e-mails. This just isn't like her!" Kali was concerned about her friend.
"How long has it been since you heard from her?" He asked, looking at her curiously.
"Just over two months! She hasn't even returned the messages left at her office! This just isn't like her! She ALWAYS returns her calls! Can we go?" Kali persisted anxiously, her eyes silently pleading.
Their eyes held for several minutes. Kane recognized her fear and knew she wouldn't rest until they went for a visit.
"I'll call the airport while you pack!" He said, reaching for the phone. Kali kissed him quick, then with a squeal of excitement, ran down the hall to pack. A couple of hours later, they were on a flight to North Carolina.
The night was warm and balmy, much different than the last time he had been here! Had it really been just four months ago? They had been in the midst of a snow storm then! He grinned to himself when he thought about how that night had ended! Not only had they shared a bed, but now they were going to have a baby!
Taker walked Judy to her door. As she fumbled with the lock, they heard the phone ringing inside! Finally she got the door open and rushed inside. Judy grabbed the phone just as it stopped ringing. After giving the phone a cross look, she turned back to the huge man standing just inside the doorway.
"Would you like something to drink? Tea or coffee perhaps?" She asked nervously.
"Sure, some tea would taste good!" His eyes ran possessively over her trim figure.
Now that he knew her secret, he could kick himself for not having guessed it earlier.He watched, admiring the gentle sway of her hips, as she headed back to the kitchen, to pour them a glass of tea. The big man followed her, a smile of anticipation curved his sensuous lips! They needed to talk!
He pulled into the driveway, parking behind a black truck that looked suspiciously like Taker's. The night air was warm and smelled slightly like honeysuckle. A big yellow moon rode high in the sky, indicating the late hour. Glancing over at Kali, the big man saw she was fast asleep! She was absolutely worn out!
"Babe, we're here! Looks like she has company!" Kane caressed her cheek, gently waking her.
"Wonder who it is? Wonder if maybe we should of tried calling again?" She asked with some trepidation.
"Well...we're here, so we might as well go on in! Bet it's Taker!" Kane said with a smart ass grin!
Kali grinned bask wickedly! "You think?"
Kane returned the grin as he reached for the door handle. Kali and Kane walked up to the door and rang the bell.
Kane saw Judy walking toward the door, through the glass. Suddenly, he grinned broadly as he glanced down in Kali's direction. Both of them was in for a surprise.
Judy's eyes widened in surprise when she opened the door and saw who was there. Her happy squeal brought Taker to the doorway to see what was going on. He grinned with pleasure seeing the two people standing in the foyer. The two women were hugging each other.
"You tow come on in! Would you like some coffee or tea?" Judy asked, looking at first Kali then Kane.
Grinning broadly, both answered at the same time. "Coffee would be good!"
The four people walked back toward the kitchen. The men fell in behind the women. Those two were excitedly talk to each other.
Kane had noticed Judy's slightly protruding belly, and guessed correctly at the reason for it. Glancing over at Taker, he asked "Are congratulations in order? Because if I'm not mistaken, that lady is pregnant!"
Taker laughed huskily, a wicked gleam in his emerald eyes. "It's mine! And we're still talking. But what brings you two here!" He quarried.
Judy and Kali poured the coffee and dished up the home made blackberry cobbler. After carrying them to the table, and passing them around, Judy looked at the others and asked "Any one else want ice cream on top?" Judy was STARVING! "It's homemade, too!" She informed them proudly as she retrieved the container of vanilla ice cream and a scoop.
"YOU made cobbler AND ice cream? Damn girl! The south really MUST agree with you!" Kali was amazed by this change in Judy! Her idea of homemade used to be stopping at the nearest deli for take out! But what REALLY surprised her, was her friends pregnancy!
"So, Kali! What brings you two here? OH! You are staying here of course! There's three bedrooms here, so there's plenty of room!" Judy was scooping ice cream out onto the cobbler.
Laughing softly at her chatter, Kane looked at the big man. "Come on Taker, help me bring in the bags!" They pushed back the chairs and left the kitchen.
Kali watched as they left, then turned her attention back to Judy. "When are you due? How did he take it when you told him? And why haven't you returned any of my calls?" Kali asked as soon as they were alone.
Judy was putting the ice cream back in the freezer. She laughed gently at the rapid-fire question!
"I was shocked to learn I was pregnant, and had a problem dealing with it! Add to that, being named co-defendant in Taker's divorce didn't help any. That took place this morning, by the way, and believe me IT WAS UGLY! I have NEVER heard such nasty accusations in my whole life! It was awful! But Taker followed me out of the court room. We went out to dinner and that's when I told him. He seems happy with it, and before you ask, the baby IS his!" Judy had re-joined her friend at the table. "I didn't know what to say to you! I was at my wits end! The more time passed, the more ashamed I became! I didn't know how to tell you!" Judy finished, looking at her friend.
Kali thought about all Judy had said. Meeting Judy's tired blue eyes, she asked something she was curious about. "So...is Taker staying tonight too?" A wicked grin touched her soft rosy lips.
Judy grinned before replying. "That's up to him!" The two women laughed together. Just then the men returned.
Sometime later, Judy showed Kali and Kane to their room. Taker settled himself comfortably on the sofa in the living room. Judy sat down next to him, and leaned against him. His arm had gone around her, pulling her closer to him. Taker kissed the top of her head, as he held her close.
"Are you staying the night?" She asked softly, sleepily.
"If it's alright! I've missed you! And I'm sorry about that shit this morning!" Taker tenderly caressed her cheek with one long finger.
"I've missed you, too! I'd like for you to stay." Judy was suddenly wide awake. The slightest touch from this man set her pulse racing. She found it hard to breathe as he stood up, took her hand and led her upstairs to her bedroom.
"Can you believe it? Judy and Taker are going to have a baby!" Kali was still amazed.
She was standing near the dresser rubbing lotion on her arms and legs, having just taken a hot shower. Her thoughts were on her friend, so she missed the heated look Kane gave her. He was sitting up against the head of the king-sized bed. The soft cotton sheets pulled up covering his hips. And he was DEFINATELY in the mood.
"Come on over here! I need some lovin!" Kane demanded huskily. He threw the sheet back and patted the bed beside him.
Kali grinned knowingly at the love of her life. She turned the radio on, the faced him, a hungry look in her eyes. Faint sounds of Metallica filled the room. The primitive, seductive strains was perfect for what she had in mind. She did an impromptu bump and grind, as she very slowly unbuttoned her satin nightshirt.
Growling, Kane came to his knees in the middle of the big bed. He was more than ready, as he watched her seductive movements. With lightening fast reflexes, he reached out and grabbed her wrist, pulling her to him on the bed. Very slowly, methodically, Kane "loved" her till she BEGGED him to take her. Dawn found them drifting off to sleep.
Judy very carefully left the bed. Taker stirred, then grew still again. She stood there, watching him sleep, a gentle smile curving her lips. Love for the man in her bed filled her heart and eyes. As quietly as she could, Judy left her bedroom and went down to the kitchen and started a pot of coffee.
It was nearly daylight. This was always her favorite time of day. Even though she had almost NO sleep, Judy's inner clock woke her up at the usual time.
She was standing in the open doorway leading to the patio, sipping on her second cup of coffee, enjoying the early morning air. The sun was just rising above the mountains off in the distance. She cried out in alarm when she felt two arms wrap around her.
"Morning babe!" He murmured against the side of her neck. His hands roamed over her body, even as he pulled her tighter against him. His hands lovingly caressed the slight bulge of her belly. His child was growing there.
"Want some coffee?" She said huskily...seductively...leaning back against him.
Moaning heartily, "Coffee isn't what I had in mind!" He said with feeling.
Laughing softly, she sat her mug down and turned in his embrace. The kiss they shared was filled with passion, love, and promise. Reluctantly, she pulled back to look up into his eyes.
"Later babe! But for now, would you settle for some breakfast?" She asked, smiling up at the big man.
Laughing at her teasing mood, he accepted her offer. "That would be good! Oh,and,a, I'm holding you to that promise!" The intense look in his eyes, caused her heart to skip a beat, then race away. Reluctantly, he let her go so she could fix their breakfast.
A few hours later, both couples met in the kitchen again. As Judy prepare the second breakfast of the day, Kali and Kane has a surprise of their own. As Kali sipped a cup of coffee, she and Kane exchanged warm glances over their rims.
"AHM, Judy, Taker! We want you two to go with us to get married. We want to do it now, while we're all together!"
The happy couple grinned at the startled looks on both their faces. Judy and Taker exchanged looks and smiles, then agreed.
"We'd LOVE to!" They said in unison.
"Well it's settled then! We'd like to do it as soon as possible! Today!" Kali said sincerely.
Now it was Judy and Taker's turn to be surprised! They looked at each other, then grinned happily at their friends.
Chapter 20!~Kaliegh
“Today? You want to get married today?’ Judy asked, not really quite sure she had heard Kali correctly.
“Yes! Today, or tonight if we don’t have enough time to get it all arranged.” Kali clarified and burst out laughing when Judy looked at her like she’d grown another head.
“You two are insane!” Taker exclaimed as he looked first at Kane, and then at Kali. “Just how do you plan to get a wedding arranged in just a few hours?” He questioned, although he knew both Kane and Kali well enough to know that once they had something in mind, they wouldn’t back down until it was done.
“Well…It won’t be anything fancy. Just something simple. It shouldn’t be too hard to hire one of those chapels and a preacher for an hour. If not, I guess we’ll just go in front of the justice of the peace and have it done.And then Kali and I are off to Hawaii for two weeks. We’ve already made those travel arrangements and talked with the boss about getting the time off.” Kane explained. He opened his mouth to comment further, but Kali finished for him.
“We just figured since we are all together, now would be the best time to do it. It could be months before we are able to get together again and I for one, do not want to wait that long.”
“Well, okay! Let’s get going on it then!” Judy smiled at Kali and Kane, truly happy for the two of them.

Several hours later, Kali and Judy arrived at the small chapel that Kane and Taker had found. After talking with the minister, the older gentleman agreed to marry Kane and Kali later that evening.
Kane and Taker were already there, but Taker had locked Kane in one of the rooms when Judy and Kali arrived, refusing to let Kane see his bride before the ceremony started. Only after the two women were behind the closed door of one of the other rooms did Taker let Kane out.
“It’s bad luck to see the bride before the wedding.” Taker stated,laughing at the look on Kane’s face.
“Aren’t you the least bit nervous?” Judy asked as she watched Kali calmly fix her hair and apply her make-up.
“Absolutely not.” Kali replied with a smile. “I am more than ready to be Kane’s wife. If I were nervous, I would have to question if I was doing the right thing. But I know I want to spend the rest of my life with Kane. The thought of that doesn’t make me nervous at all.”
“Well, that certainly does make sense. I know you and Kane will be so happy together.” Judy said as she put the finishing touches on her own hair before slipping into her dress. Then she helped Kali into her dress. A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door, telling Kali and Judy that it was time. Judy walked out of the room with Kali following closely behind her.
Chapter Twenty-one!~Judy
The happy couple unlocked the door of their honeymoon retreat. The bungalow was right on the beach, in fact they had their OWN private beach, and it was ALL theirs for the next two weeks! The sun was just beginning to set and the view was magnificent.
"OH! This is so beautiful!" She breathed, her eyes glittered brightly, as she turned to Kane.
He grinned back as he wrapped his big arms around her. They stood in the window watching the most breathtaking sunset EVER! They enjoyed the warm tropical breeze, the distant sounds of island music, the smell of the ocean! Kali turned to Kane, he read the desire in her eyes, and unable to help himself, covered her lips with his own. Their passions grew as the sun sank lower in the western sky.
Taker went back home with Judy, after seeing Kane and Kali off at the airport. The big man sensed a change in her mood! His sharp eyes remained on her as she moved about the kitchen, making a pot of coffee. His long frame leaned negligently against the counter. His arms and ankles were crossed, giving the appearance of a man at ease! Yet his knowing eyes never left her!
Judy had the coffee going then cut them a slice of chocolate chess pie. She REALLY had to stop making all these desserts or she would end up as big as a barn! With an un-ladylike snort of disgust, she mentally shrugged her shoulders, even as she carried the plates to the table.
"You OK?" He asked, pushing away from his relaxed pose. He wasn't use to eating all these sweets and suspected she wasn't either. Must be the pregnancy!
Turning surprised eyes to his, she smiled slightly. "Yeah, I'm fine! Why do you ask?" She asked curiously. The coffee was ready so she poured them each a cup.
"Oh, no reason really. You just seem quieter." He sat down, thanking her as she sat down their cups.
"I was just thinking of Kali and Kane! She loves him so much! I'm happy for her. She's had a rough time of it, and I'm glad she's found someone that appreciates her uniqueness! She's very special and dear to me. I wish her well!" Judy held his gaze a few more minutes, then looked away.
"Do you want to get married?" He asked quietly, searching her face. He didn't miss the startled surprise the filled her eyes.
"AHM! Married? I hadn't thought about it! After my own bad marriage and your disaster, I'm surprised you would even mention it!" She looked at him curiously. She hadn't missed the relieved expression he couldn't hide.
"I thought you might want to, because of the baby!" A knowing smirk on his handsome face, he was certain she wouldn't refuse his magnanimous gesture. Very sure of his own appeal, Taker lifted the cup to his sensuous lips. After all, she couldn't very well raise his child alone.
A look of utter amazement covered her face. Laying her fork down, she turned angry eyes on him. Very calmly, very quietly, she wanted to make absolutely sure she understood him right!
"Let me see if I have this right! Are you asking me to marry you because of the baby? So I won't be SHAMED, and that the baby will not bare the stigma of illegitimacy? Does that about sum it up?" She was FURIOUS!
Her soft, gentle voice threw him off. He missed the growing anger in her cold blue eyes and the tightening of her generous mouth, so certain of his own magnetism. A smug expression covered his handsome features. He too, laid aside his fork.
"Yeah, that pretty much sums it up, although I would use those exact words!" The conversational tone and his own arrogance was nearly her undoing.
"Do you love me?" She asked softly.
"We are compatible in bed. To me, that's more important that this so called emotion women think so much of!" His arrogance knew no limits.
Judy's anger exploded all over him! "Of ALL the most asinine remarks you could have made! Taker....I think it's time for you to leave! Take that attitude AND you generous OFFER and shove them BOTH straight up your ass!" Her icy tone and blazing eyes finally got through to him. Disbelief spread across his handsome face!
"You're throwing me out?" He couldn't believe it! No woman had EVER thrown him out before!
"Not only am I throwing you out, but I never want to see you again! Stay away from me! I want NOTHING form you! I can and WILL take care of MY child without any help from YOU! Now, I want you to get the HELL out of my house!" She had come to her feet and was breathing heavily.
This was a new experience for Taker. He couldn't believe she meant what she had just said, his ego wouldn't allow it.
"Ok, I'll leave for now! In a day or so, after you hormones have settled down, give me a call!" His condescending manner all but had her gnashing her teeth, so great was her anger!
She followed him to the door, slamming and locking it behind him. The NERVE of the man! Gritting her teeth, arms crossed, Judy was more angry than she had EVER been in her life! At that moment, her baby decided to do cartwheels in her belly!
She stood there, hands gently rubbing her belly, leaning against the door, listening as he backed out of the driveway and roared off into the night!
Chapter Twenty-two!~Kaliegh
“I’m not ready to go back yet.” Kali said to Kane as she gazed out the window at the sparkling blue ocean. The last two weeks had literally flown by and by this time tomorrow, this tropical paradise would only be a memory.
“I know how you feel, love.” He replied as he walked up behind her,wrapping his arms around her body. He didn’t want to go back on the road anymore than she did. They had been spoiled in the time they spent in Hawaii. They had gotten used to sleeping late everyday. The long walks on the beach had left them both completely relaxed, and the hours spent swimming in the ocean or lying in the sand had left them both beautifully tanned and glowing.But most important was the time they had been able to spend with each other. Their love for each other had become deeper than either of them had ever thought possible.
“We’ll come back here as soon as possible.” Kane promised as he gently turned his wife around to him. Her arms instantly went around his waist as she tipped her head back to look up at him. He tenderly caressed her cheek while he circled her shoulders with his other arm, pulling her tight against his big body.
“I’m holding you to that promise.” Kali said as she looked up at Kane,her eyes glittering with desire for her husband.
Kane smiled softly down at her as he slowly leaned forward until his lips found hers. The kiss started out slow and gentle at first, but quickly deepened as their passion for each other consumed them both. Kali pulled back from the heated kiss and dropped her head to his bare chest,placing light kisses on his skin as she ran her fingernails down his back. The deep groan that escaped his throat heightened her hunger for him.
Kane lifted her head back to his, catching her lips in another mind-shattering kiss. Kali stood up on her toes, increasing the pressure on his mouth as she curled her fingers through his hair that was still damp from his shower a short time ago. She moaned softly when Kane took his mouth away from hers and kissed his way across her jaw down to her neck. Her legs became weak and threatened to give out on her when he moved her long hair aside and gently bit that sensitive spot on the back of her neck.
He slowly began undressing her, leaving a trail of burning kisses as each inch of her skin became exposed, his big hands followed close behind, roaming freely over her smooth body. He scooped her up in his massive arms and carried her to the bed where he continued his sweet, torturing assault on her body. In no time at all he had her melting under his touch and aching for the release that only he could give her.
Using all of her strength, Kali rolled Kane onto his back and began an assault of her own on his body. Soon both of their passions had heightened to the point that they could no longer be denied. Kane rolled her back, quickly covering her body with his. Within moments, their two bodies joined together to become one.
They finally fell into an exhausted sleep just as the sun began lighting the eastern sky. They slept late into the morning and barely made it to the airport in time to catch their flight back.
“I can’t wait to see Judy!” Kali exclaimed, her eyes shining with excitement as she and Kane drove from the airport to Judy’s house. After not seeing or even talking to her friend for the last two weeks, Kali was very much looking forward to visiting Judy before she and Kane had to go back on the road the next morning.
“We’ll be there soon.” Kane assured her, smiling as he reached over and took her hand into his. He was good to his word and a half-hour later, they turned into Judy’s driveway.
Judy had been waiting for Kane and Kali, knowing that they were coming. She pulled the door open and stepped outside when she saw their car drive up. She welcomed them as they stepped out of the car. Both women squealed with happiness as they rushed over and hugged each other.
“Wow! You look great!” Judy said as she took in her friend’s golden tan and shining eyes. “I take it your time in Hawaii suited you.” She looked at Kali with a knowing smile on her face.
“Oh, it was wonderful! I cannot wait to get back there again soon. And how are you?” Kali replied as she looked at Judy, studying her. Kali saw something in her friend’s eyes and opened her mouth to comment, but closed it again when Kane joined them.
“How are you and the little one doing?” Kane asked as he bent and kissed Judy’s cheek, then he straightened back up, grinning at both of the women.
Judy smiled up at the big man. “We are doing just fine.” She told him,yet he didn’t miss the hint of sadness in her voice. He glanced over at Kali, knowing she sensed something was up too.
“Well, come on in!” Judy said after a few moments, breaking the silence that had fallen over them. “And I want to hear all about your Hawaiian adventure!”
A few hours later, Kane went into the living room to relax, knowing Kali would want to talk to Judy while they cleaned up after dinner.
“I thought Taker might be here.” Kali began, watching Judy’s reaction closely. She did not miss the brief flicker of pain in her friend’s eyes and wondered what that man had done this time. “Are thing okay between you two?”
“He asked me to marry him.” Judy told her in an emotionless voice. She watched as Kali’s mouth fell open and her eyes widened with disbelief. She was about to continue but Kali cut her off.
“What?! Oh my God….That’s wonderful!” She exclaimed, happy for her friend even though she was still completely surprised by what she had just been told.
“No, it’s not like that, Kal.” Judy stated, shaking her head. “He only wanted to get married because of the baby and when I asked him if he loved me, he said that we are compatible in bed which is much more important than the so-called emotion that woman think so much of.” She finished,taking a deep breath when she felt angry tears stinging her eyes.
Kali was silent for several moments, trying to understand why Taker would say such a thing. He and Judy had seemed to be getting along wonderfully the day she and Kane had gotten married. She couldn’t understand how he could hurt her yet again after all she had been through with him already. Kali’s eyes narrowed with anger. Apparently Taker hadn’t taken her threat to heart. He was going to pay for hurting Judy again. Kali would make sure of that.
Finally she spoke. “Well, I do hope you’ve washed your hands of that son of a bitch for good this time. He’s not worth all of the pain and heartache he has caused you.” Kali said quietly, feeling horrible for her friend,and mad as hell at Taker. Kane was going to be more than angry too when she told him after all that they had done to help Taker get Judy back a few months ago.
“Definitely.” Judy answered. “I made it very clear to him that I never want to see or hear from him again.”
“What did he say?” Kali asked.
“Call me in a day or two when your hormones have settled down.” Judy quoted his words.
“Oh, man…What a jerk! You do not need him. And you know that Kane and I will be here for you.” Kali said sincerely as she hugged her friend.
“Thank you.” Judy hugged her back, thankful to have such a wonderful friend.
“I’ll call you in a day or two, okay. And the WWF will be coming back this way in three weeks so we’ll see you then.” Kali said to Judy early the next morning as she and Kane prepared to leave for the airport. “If you need anything though, please call…even if it is just to talk.”
“I will.” Judy answered, sad to see Kali and Kane leaving again so soon.
Kane glanced down at his watch. “Kal, we have to go now.” He walked over to Judy and hugged her and then stepped back so Kali could say good-bye. A few seconds later, they were out the door and on their way to the airport.
”I’m going to run down and get some coffee. You want some?” Kali asked after she and Kane had gotten to the hotel in Pittsburgh. Kane was stretched out on the big bed, looking very relaxed.
“Yeah, I want some.” He growled as he reached out and pulled her on top of him. He wrapped his arms tight around her and captured her lips in a kiss that had her whole world spinning.
Kali pulled back after a few moments and looked at him. “Later, Kane..”She whispered her promise to him in a voice that had his heart pounding furiously. She wiggled out from his arms and stood up again, smiling down at her husband.
“Sorry, I should have been more specific there. Do you want some coffee or no?” She asked with a laugh, seeing the look in his eyes.
“Please.” He answered.
“Okay, I’ll be right back.” She bent down and kissed him before she turned and left out the door.
Kali was walking down the long hallway when she looked up and saw Taker walking just a ways in front of her. Her eyes narrowed with anger as she picked up her pace to catch up with him.
“Busted!” She thought to herself as she caught up with him and grabbed his arm, turning the big man around to face her, ready to let him have it.
Taker was caught off guard as he spun around, nearly tripping over his own feet. He looked down at Kali. “Well, I see the newlyweds have come back. And just how was your honeymoon anyway?” He asked with a smirk on his face.
“What the hell is your problem?” Kali asked him, forcing herself not to yell at him.
Taker just laughed at her. “I don’t have a problem. What’s yours?”
“YOU are my problem! I warned you not to hurt Judy again and you go and do it anyway. Why?” She demanded to know his reason for doing that.
Taker again laughed, completely ignoring her question. “Instead of asking me questions, maybe you should be asking your husband questions. Like the real reason why he is with you. If its because you think he loves you, you are mistaken. Ask him about the bet he and I had.”
“What the hell are you talking about?” Kali questioned him, completely confused by what he had just said.
“Ask him. Make him tell you the truth.” Taker said, then turned and walked away.
