As you can see by the pictures on this page I love Eagles.
I have loved the beauty of the Bald Eagle every sense I saw one catch a fish at Lyons Lake in California.
We were in a boat fishing and the Bald Eagle swooped down and grabed a trout.
It was a totally awesome sight to see.
Now that we live in Alaska I get to see lots of Bald Eagles.

This globe was made by a very sweet and special person.

From an Eagle's View

Have you ever wondered what it's like to fly free,
To see the world as far as the eye can see,
To view the surroundings from high and from low,
To hear only the sound of a distant echo,
To float in the air with the wind being your guide,
To admire many rainbows that the trees tend to hide,
To see the misty mornings over a beautiful mountaintop,
To glide over a flowing river that never seems to stop,
To watch the animals from over a mile away,
Or to rise above the treetops that glisten in the day?
If you were an eagle you would wonder no more
For it can see things you have never seen before.
Next time you look into the sky of blue,
Think of what it's like from an eagle's view.

The Eagle and the Wolf

One flying high
One running low
One with eyes of fire
One with eyes of gold.

The winds raise the wings of the one on high
While it strokes the fur of the one below
Joining each in their flight to be free
Giving strength to their drams.

Each taking their own path
Yet traveling side by side
As they race with the winds
Their spirits soaring high.

Lending strength to eachother
As they grow and earn together
Reaching for their dreams
Learning to fly high & live free.....

The Eagle

On a clear summer day.
I saw to my delight.
Amagnificent bald eagle,
Soaring in flight.

Against a faded blue sky,
He performed for me.
Soaring and wheeling,
Majestically.

What a beautiful sight,
It was to see.
Soaring through the sky,
Happy and free.

Free as the Eagle

From waterfalls to mountains, the eagle has seen it all
With the beauty of the spring and the warm colors of the fall.
It has many skills, which help in its survival.
They are very important in winter's arrival.
It can swoop down, catch a fish and carry it away.
It has very keen eyesight for spotting it's prey.
It likes to live on a tree branch way up high.
When it soars through the air, it keeps a watchful eye.
It lives a life so peaceful and carefree.
Why it is envied is not hard to see.
Carry on brave eagle and keep gliding high up in the sky.
Just spread your broad wings out and be free as you fly.

The Eagle and the Hawk

I am the eagle, I live in high country,
In rocky cathedrals that reach to the sky,
I am the hawk and there's blood on my feathers,
But time is still turning they soon will be dry,
And all those who see me and all who believe in me,
Share in the freedom I feel when I fly,
Come dance with the west wind and touch on the mountain tops,
Sail over the canyons and up to the stars,
And reach for the heavens and hope for the future,
And all that we "can" be, not just what we are.

Eagles' Wings

To soar above the rabble on eagle's wing,
and embrace the cool silence beyond the din.
To sense the crystal tones that ring within,
and follow the luring lay the sirens sing.

To rise aloft with the new sun's first ray,
and pursue the blue midst night and day.
To glide in softness as the clouds float by,
and rest on a peak with the gods on high.

A Symbol of America

The bald eagle is so admired by many people of this nation.
It stands for freedom and deserves our appreciation.
For it is a thing of beauty and a symbol of our land.
We need to protect it and lend a helping hand.
If someone is seen harming one, we need to make it known.
For if we want to see it in the future, it must be left alone.
It is breathtaking to many people when they see it flying in the sky.
They are amazed at its gracefulness and how it glides so very high.
The bald eagle is so magnificent, so beautiful and so true.
What a wonderful symbol of America next to the old red, white and blue.
