We arrived at Nashville Shores at around 3:30pm. It Had just stopped raining, but was still cloudy.The humidity was EXTREMELY High !! Jan was excellent in getting us all signed in. It took quite some time , but she handled it better than I could have. It was a LONG line ! Once we gave our names to be checked off the list & Jan had given us a VIP Sticker we walked up a gravel road into the woods.Once we were up there , we found a seat on These wooden benches that were infront of the stage area. Behind it was the picnic area which was covered. And let me tell ya,It would have been packed if it would have begun to rain again LOL . Jan spoke first and introduced David's Family to us. Michael and his wife , Chaz , Pam & her Husband , and Jan's daughter Dana. Jan then gave out these fans to the fan club members with 3 or less digits in there FC #. She also gave out Kersh Cash to some members. Such as the member who was there that had traveled the furtherst. That member was from Sidney Austrailia (2 Actually both received some). Also to the Oldest FC Member , Youngest member & to a member who shared the December 9th birthday (expect for the fact that she was born in 75... AND she was from Canada !) Jan then played some Kersh Trivia. 4 members were pulled up on stage and each was asked a multiple choice question. The questions were not EASY ! And we found out something interesting that happened when David was only 2 yrs old that involved Doodle bugs and his nose ROFL Once that was over David and the guys took the stage to do a little bit of music for us. They did "Scratch", "Wonderful Tonight" and "If I Never Stop loving You". David also told us that Eric Clapton will no longer let him perform "Wonderful Tonight" on Television. Everyone went "Awwwwwwww" and he said "It's Ok" LOL He then answered questions from anyone who had put a question in the guitar case on the edge of the stage.He answered quite a few some I can remember I will now tell ya..One was Out of all the cities he had toured in which was his favorite. He said he really didn't have a favorite,but that he loved Chicago a lot.And that there is nothing else in world like being in Hawaii. Someone also asked what his favorite Candy Bar was , he said it was a tie between a BabeRuth and a PayDay. Someone told him that they gave PayDays away at the Softball Game and he said "Well I didn't get one !" So I reached into my camera bag and got mine out and a friend with me tossed it up on stage to him and I said "There ya go!" Another question was if he could have released any songs as singles that he didn't what would he had picked. He said from the current album it would have been "The Need" And from his first album it would have been "Boys will be boys" and "Until Now". Another question was asked about who he would like to do a duet with he said Lee Ann Womack.He then talked about how he liked her single "I'll think of a reason later" and he sang a bit of it .. LOL I can't remember any more of them ,so if anyone else does please refresh my memory ! He also received A LOT of gifts !!! Once the questions were over everyone lined up to talk with David. I had him sign a picture of him and I together,, that was taken at the Cotton Eyed Joe show that I seen him at in March. And I got 2 Biggo Kersh Hugs ! My husband had David sign a couple photos of him that we had also taken at the March show. Then My hubby and I sat around and waited so we could get into the IFCO Group photo. We talked to John Carroll while we waited and had him sign of Photo of David and him jammin' together onstage. He is a very nice guy and very Funny ! It took quite a LONG time for the line to even look like it had moved ! We sat and waited with Mary Ann , Jenni , Lisa , Angela , Tracy and David's sister Dana.Dana kept us company and very entertained ! Dana had us laughing the whole time ! Jan you have a Wonderful Daughter ! Boy can she talk! LOL We all loved her and sooooo glad she was there to help us pass the time waiting for the Group Photo ! Finally the line was almost done. Jan gathered up the rest of the IFCO Posters and had us all get ready for the photo. David soon joined us for the photo ! We also had Dana stay in the photo , we said she was an Honorary Poster ! After the group photo ,My husband and I had to head out on the road. It was back to Knoxville for us ! It took us just over 2 hours to get home. We ran into some rain that slowed us down a bit , but other than that our ride home was fine ! We made it home safe and sound ! That's what counts !!! Sorry this review was sooooo long , but it was a GREAT Party and a Long night !! I end this review with a suggestion for next years party .... 2 words .... AIR CONDITIONING !!! ROFL Thanks David , Jan , Chaz and everyone else who helped out at the Party to make it such fun for us fans !
