The street AAR 'Cuda's were set apart from the rest of the Barracuda pack by a series of AAR ONLY features available exclusively to the AAR. Some of these features were:
Dual factory side exiting exhaust
"Light Weight" Matte Black Fiberglass Hood with air scoop for cold air
Rear deck spoiler and 2 front spoilers
AAR Decal followed by a Strobe Stripe Decal
Larger rear tires, a first in American made automobiles.
High Performance 340-6 barrel engine, available ONLY in the AAR 'Cuda and T/A Challenger. It produces 290 Horsepower @ 5000 RPM, compared to 275 @ 5000 RPM by the regular 340-4 barrel, with the help of 3 Holley 2 barrel carbs!
