"To My New Friend"

I turned on my computer,to see if I could find,
something fun to interest me and help me pass the time.

I searched and searched the internet,alas to no avail,
I even went to my e-address,and sent myself some mail.

It wasn't very long before I'd had enough of that,
So thought I'd turn on ICQ and have a nice long chat.

But when I did I had a shock...my friends were all off-line,
"What will I do",I asked myself, with such a mournful whine.

And then a message came to me,across my puter screen,
"Wanna chat?" was all it said,crisp and clear,and clean.

So now I have a brand new friend, to share a smile or two,
A brand new friend who's really nice.And that friend is you.

"WELCOME TO MY LIST"
