 Hey! What's up? Thank you for coming to this page.  This is a proposal page to my girlfriend.  My name is Mark, 26; my girlfriend's name is Kristen, 26. One day, Kristen and I were talking about the internet stuff after our CS class in school.  I was bragging that I could make a site with hundred of thousands of visitors.  She didn't beleive that.  We made a bet about that.  First we were betting a lunch, then it was a term-paper.  Then I said if I won she would have to marry me!! ...and she AGREED!!  She was serious, and I was shocked and excited, very excited!! 

So I spent two weeks trying to think of a site that would attract a lot of visitors so that I could marry the woman I've loved so much since our senior year in high school.    If I get 500,000 hits by December 14, 1998, which is her 26th birthday, we WILL GET MARRIED!! :-)

UPDATE: last night (December 14) was Kristen's birthday. We went to have dinner and celebrate it. I had a great time. Then we went back to our place. And I took out the ring and the flowers and proposed to her. She was half crying and half smiling. And she said yes. And we were kissing and hugging.

I don't know whether I am going to keep this page running now that Kristen said yes. I am going to put other stuff on this page though until I make a decision. Maybe I will put some wedding pics.
