Shri Chinmay Basu

Our new Chief Executive Officer, Shri Chinmay Basu has joined Khadi and Village Industries Commission w.e.f. 03.08.2001. Shri Basu is a senior 1977 batch IAS from Orissa Cadre. Formerly, he was working as Commissioner-cum-Secertary with Department of PR and Rural Development, Government of Orissa. At the age of 50 years, Shri Basu is still very energetic and was actively involved in the Relief and Rehabilitation work of Cyclone effected Orissa State. We hope that the KVIC would achieve new heights under his able guidance.
