Fake

They think they're so cool With their Old Navy, Abercrombie, They're spoiled little brats Looking for attention, friends, popularity. They cake on the makeup Put on their show, their escapade. They put on their masks. Through the crowds they parade. They think they're all kings, With their money, looks, personality. They're hollow and translucent Haven't figured it out yet, Never going to I bet. They haven't figured out that they all look fake to me. I sit back and watch them Putting on their front, their show. They look like stupid idiots But they don't even know. They're conforming to a world that will never conform. And I laugh at them, their clothes I have worn. I've tried to be like them, But I realized they're wrong So here's hoping they figure it out Before very long. They're hollow and translucent, Haven't figured it out yet, Never going to I bet. They haven't figured out that they all look fake to me. They all dye their hair So it's gold like the sun. They think they're the shit. HELLO! Blondes don't have more fun. Wish they'd wake up some day And see with their eyes. If they ever did It'd be a surprise. I can't see things from their point of view. I don't think I want to. They're hollow and translucent, Haven't figured it out yet So I sit here and laugh Because they haven't figured out that they all look fake to me. They think they're so cool With their Marlboro, Camel Wides They're sorry looking people, Even with masks and a hideous disguise. They put on a smile Tie the rope around their hands, their neck. Are they still alive? When's the last time you checked? Alive to the world, But crumbling, dying, bleeding inside. They're hollow and translucent Haven't figured it out yet Never going to I bet, They haven't figured out that they all look fake to me.
