She walks through the darkest, deadliest alley With a tear in her eye. She stands boldly. Face to face with clear and present danger. "Fall to your knees!" she cries, And she hears footsteps all around. "I command you! Fall to your knees!" A crack of thunder, A lightning bolt. Everyone fell upon their knees. She stays up All hours of the night. She cries. By moonlight she willows. She hides behind A smile. But her lies Can fool no one. "Fall to your knees!" And the woman fell upon them, Gazed upward, And cried, "God have mercy!"
