Letter to a Suicide Victim

I still cannot shed Any light onto the answer Of why you left us there To fend for ourselves. You were the strong And us, the weak at heart. But it seems as though inside You were weak as well. I cannot sleep at night For fear your spirit haunts me. I hear noises in the dark And see what is not there. The room in which you died Is colder than December And an eerie glow is forever Cast upon the wall. We will never know Why you chose to pass on But I hope you are better off Wherever you are now. May the wind carry you And the light show the path And may you touch our lives In ways yours never was.
