This was a wonderfully penned novel that brought the past to life and gave the character's breath. I found myself experiencing life through the eyes of the character. I was sad to see the story end! I intend to go back and read the first novel in the series and to watch for more reads by Barbara Donlon Bradley.

LOVE ON THE RUN is full of humor and adventure. The chemistry between Elizabeth ‘Beth’ Beaudreaux and Andrew Leroux is amazing. The sexual tension between these two builds throughout the novel, especially after they marry ‘in name only’. Beth and Andrew are both very strong-willed, which makes for some really funny dialogue between the two...This is a very enjoyable novel which I highly recommend.

When curiosity causes her to touch the portrait, she finds herself trapped in the past with a man who is far too cute and too pig-headed for her taste.

Ms. Bradley weaves an engrossing tale of time travel, romance, and suspense beginning on page one and keeps the tension building throughout the entire book. The characters are realistic and interact smoothly, complementing each other perfectly. Her descriptive ability is in no way lacking and builds pictures in the reader's mind. A truly gifted author.
