Cavit Atmaca

He was born in Adapazarı in 1931. He's  graduated from Istanbul Academy of Fine Arts with a master degree. Between 1957 and 1963 ,he worked as a teacher in military and state Art Gallery of Kütahya and was the minister for eight years. Between 1971 and 1976 ,the was the prime - minister of Izmir Museum of Art and Sculpture. From. 1976 to 1981 .From he was a lecturer in the Art Department of Buca Faculty of Education .He retired by his own will in1981 From then on he has continued his art his private studio in Izmir.

He joined the exhibitions like Artist Community of Turkey; State exhibitions; foreign and native mixed exhibitions. He opened 32 personal exhibitions in Izmir, Istanbul, and Ankara .He made researches in the famous museums and galleries of London and Paris in 1991.

He won seven prizes from the competitions.

His Works are found in Izmir and Ankara state Art and Sculpture Museums, in state institutions like Department of Culture and National Library Collections in various private collections inside and out side Turkey.
