"These Three Dangerous Words"
I Love You.... Webster defines it as....I=The one that is the speaker or writer. Love=an intense affection for another person based on familial or personal ties. You=the one who is being addressed.

My oh my, Mr. Webster makes it sound so easy, or is it a lie? Why is it so hard for this simple emotion to be in our everyday lives? We use that phrase so easily and pleasingly, but often use it so meaninglessly. Brothas step to a sista and looks her dead in the eye and would say, "Damn baby I love you" and have his mind on another honey. Even our sistas would look a "Mandingo King" in the eye and express her love to him, and be focused on his money.

It makes you wonder, is it really worth it? Should I just forget all about it? Will another's love for me ever be legit? Especially when my love is so selfless? I don't know...I will just keep my faith in God and he'll tell me the story. And I'm sure, one day, I'll see this "Love" and all of its glory. I just hope I don't shun it away because "Love" was once a weapon used on me. I pray that I will accept it, feel all the love, and the words "I Love You" will mean what it's supposed to be.
