Curriculum vitae

I was born in March 1964 in the city of Ordu, Turkey. After I finished my elementary and secondary school education in my hometown, In 1982 I began to study in University of Ankara Agriculture Faculty in Plant Protection Department. I’m graduated from this department in 1987. During my study in the University I worked in Finance Ministry as an employee. As soon as I finished the University as an Agriculture Engineer I changed my work to State Meteorological Service in Agrometeorology and Observation Department in fitting to my new profession.

In course of my works in Meteorology I trained to have experiences on agrometeorology, hydrology and climatology and their relations to each other. I have been improving my computer skill. I believe that computer experience is very necessary nowadays. I have been preparing user programming with Visual Basic and Delphi language and I'm teaching those languages. My rainfall intensity analyses program is still using in my department and Northern Cyprus Meteorological Department. I use also office support software including WinWord, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. I had used WMO CLICOM Program. Also I use GIS software. I'm preparing web sites with html, FrontPage, and Flash

In my secondary and University education my foreign language was French. I had postgraduate French certificate from Turkish State Employees Foreign Language High School. Also, I have Intermediate Level English course certificate.

Now, I have been studying as an engineer in National Meteorological Service in Climatology Department and I am studying about climatological applications and I replace my studies to the State Meteorological web site. I'm member of WMO/CCl Expert Team on Climate Change Detection, Monitoring and Indices (ETCCDMI).
