PROJECTS


  • The "Technical Report I" was titled  "Data Warehousing Concepts." The report  describes the different terms and concepts of Data warehousing and how the information is stored and retrieved from the database. This report conclude by making some recommendations as to why a data warehouse should be used instead of a regular database.

  • Designed and created a DB2 database. Wrote a user friendly C++ program with embedded SQL that allowed user to retrieve, update, and delete records.

  • The "Senior Technical Report" was titled "General Concepts and Implementation Issues in Relational Database." The report discusses various issues like Recovery Techniques, Database Security and Authorization, Transaction Processing, Concurrency Control Techniques, Distributed Databases and Client server Architecture.

  • Designed and constructed a Multimedia application using HTML, JavaScript. The application made use of multimedia components such as sound, video and animation.Adobe Premiere, Adobe PhotoShop 5.0, and Netscape Composer were used. Formal layout and design principles were followed closely during the design of the application.
