I was born in Maseru, Lesotho (then known as Basotholand).  After periods in Cape Town, Pretoria, and London
the family went to live in Mbabane, a place I was to regard as home until after school.

As an adult I spent quite a few years living in Hout Bay, a suburb of Cape Town. 
I moved to the inner north shore of Sydney fairly recently.
