For those of you that check on a regular basis...I'm sorry I haven't been updating this as much since I've been home. Some of you I know try and keep up with what I'm doing and really can't if I can't keep up my end of the deal. I'm back in College Park and I'm living in my first one bedroom apartment. I'm really loving it. Although I spend a lot of time out of it. I'm working at the University in the Engineering Department as and Admin. Assistant and I'm labeled as an Advisor as well. Right now I'm still on my 6 month probation. Who know that you could be on probation for that long.
Most of last year was a bust. I didn't enjoy it as much as I should have. I did win two awards for working myself like mad for the department of housing. I'm hoping that when I get into grad school, which by the way has now been put off for another year since I didn't realize that the University of Maryland only auditions once a year now. So I'm looking at the fall of 2006 or the spring of 2006 elsewhere. I'm hoping for here since I am an official staff memeber. So I'm practicing and hoping to find a teacher for piano and voice while I'm waiting. I'm hoping that I can pay a few things off while I'm waiting to get back into school full swing. I'm really looking forward to getting my master's and my doctorate and moving on. If I'm lucky I'll figure out a lot of ways to perform while I'm out here on my own. I will be adding to my poetry page soon. I have been off line most of the time that I have been back home. Except for when they put me on the network at my mom's house, but then it was as if everyone was looking over my shoulder all of the time since I was working in the dining room.
