JANETTA'S HOMEPAGE IN GEOCITIES.COM
A desert appears to run on and on indefinitely. Like the meandering hills on a desert, it seems  to resemble life's trials and tribulations that everyone goes through.
The scorching skyline strikes a cool contrast to the meandering hills on the desert, and in comparison to life, it metaphorises the eventual seeing of light in problems, that people experience.
Hi, I am Janetta, and I am a 24 year old Sociology graduate.  In life, not everything would proceed according to how we would like it.  Nevertheless, the idea is to have a conceptualising mindset that encompasses thinking beyond the commonsensical, contemplating new possibilities, and multiple meanings to how people act in so many varied ways.

To move on to something less philosophical, I like the idea of cyberspace, where meeting people from all over the world is not a problem.  Across boundaries, people share their feelings, across oceans, people meet others who are like-minded, across time zones, individuals get to respond almost instaneously with the touch of a button. :-)  The world is indeed changing, every minute of it.  How would you envisage the next millenium to be?

To let you get a slightly better idea of me, I would introduce some of my interests to you.
  • I enjoy reading psychology, life experiences, mysteries, and other kinds of books.  Of late, I have been quite keen to learn about webpage design.
  • Travelling is a great way to know other cultures and I strongly recommend anyone to take this option to relax and to contemplate the true world.
  • Singing, and humming tunes are also my fascinations.  Indeed, it relaxes the mind and enables one to be in a much better temperament.
  • Needless to say, surfing the internet is one of my everyday past-times.    It offers another perspective to the daily newspapers and the daily snail mails. :-)
  •

Just like the cheetah, human kind is also expected to chase after their aspirations and their goals.  People are impressed upon, from a tender age to work hard and to strive after their career goals and other life motivations.  Nevertheless, is career and materialistic concerns all there is to life?
I have often asked myself this question....and answers range.

    On a brighter note,
we ought to take life a little easier and smell the roses.
You may be faraway from your friends but you could still send them your regards.
If you know your dear ones need help with jobs, take some time to help them with that.  You may wish to dig out some Employment resources to assist your jobless friends.
Or you may be feeling down, don't despair but continue to have faith.
If  you are interested to sell some of your old merchandise to raise funds, or just deciding to give the house a thorough spring clean, why not advertise in the Classifieds? You'll be doing both parties a favour. :-)
Maybe you are thinking of visiting a friend, but have no idea of how his/her country is like, find out in Lonely Planet.  Alternatively, you may choose to book hotel accomodation.
Don't worry if you have not any idea how to energise your life, you could always do a search for alternatives and have myraid interests ploughed into your daily lifestyle.

Let life be happy, we can do our best and not be too hard on ourselves.  Have fun!
