2nd Chance

Why does it half to be this way?
They know the truth but decide to stay.

Glamorous attitudes and look the same
One I don't have so they stray far away

The "mistakes" they make again and again
And all I can do is comfort as a friend

I understand they're frustrated, but others don't know
How to respect and trust, not argue with woe

They know the qualities they want in a man
Yet don't listen to there heart, and their eyes take command

Cuz qualities like mine aren't revealed on the surface
They're deeper than that, lacking the sin, with a much greater purpose.

Could it be I've failed at my task?
To please every woman right down to the last

These answers I don't know, and will not ask
For it would break every rule I have made in the past.
