I lost my beloved husband of 38 years in April of 1998. He was a special Godly man. I had prayed so hard for his healing, all our friends were praying and our church was praying, as well as, our community where he touched so many lives. He died of acute leukemia at 66. I was bitter and angry at God for not healing him when I believed with all my heart that he would. In December of 1999 I began studying a Sunday school lesson that I was to teach on January 16th. The topic was 3 healings that Jesus performed found in the book of Matthew. I was dismayed to find out that healing was the subject I was to teach on. I read the lesson over and a commentary as well at breakfast every day for about 5 days during the last week in December. All of a sudden I realized that a miracle had happened - I was healed!! I can now go forward with my life instead of wanting to die and I can be happy again. The physical healings we get during this life still cannot keep us from ultimately dying and the only kind of healing that's important is spiritual healing. Having a personal relationship with Jesus and the assurance tht you will have eternal life is all that counts. I always knew that I would see Clayton again but I can wait now. I can once again enjoy my three sons and daughters-in-law and 3 precious grandchildren. My church family has been a grat source of comfort to me. Clayton and I have always been involved in church and community affairs and all of our children are followers of Jesus and active in church. What a blessing!!!
