The Chateau

Please feel free to explore:

A litte more detail about each area of the chateau:

The library and archives contain a series of significant links as well as a selection of my own writings.  Also feel free to browse through a series of pages dedicated to Angela Carter or a tribute to Scheherazade, storyteller extraordinaire.

It is perpetually night in the midnight gardens

The Portrait Gallery is no more than it claims to be.   Possibly a little less.

The Theatre is currently hosting a pre-screening lecture on Sunset Boulevard.  But you may also find cinematic archives, focussing on film noir.

An important note: the image at the entrance to this page, was painted by an e-quaintance of mine named Randall Vemer. He emailed it to me a few summers ago. The rich colours as well as the image itself--of a path twisting off into the distance... replete with mystery and possibility--so caught my imagination that I asked him for permission to put it up onto my page. He very graciously consented. If you would like to see more of his work or read of his extraordinary career, his homepage is a great place to start.
