Felicia Mason - Biography

Felicia Mason is a motivational speaker and an award-winning author. Her most recent Arabesque novels, Rhapsody and Foolish Heart , are reader favorites.

Felicia loves the water, the mountains, traveling to new places and getting cozy with a good book. She has so many books that a reporter once wrote that her house "looks like a pulp fiction warehouse."

She collects blue and white porcelain, has a thing for letter openers and ink pens, and is a fan of old romantic movies. Beginning in the fall of 2000, she will have three novels published by Zebra Bouquet Romances that were inspired by one of those old movies. Look for the "How to Marry a Millionaire" series, stories about contemporary women who discover love in unlikely places.

Mason is a journalist by profession. She’s also spent times as a college professor. Her 1995 novel, Body and Soul , was awarded a Reviewer’s Choice Award from Romantic Times, and the Best Contemporary Ethnic Novel Award from Affaire de Coeur. She’s a two-time winner of the Best-Selling Multicultural Title Award from Waldenbooks for Body and Soul and Seduction. Glamour magazine readers named her first novel, For The Love of You , one of their all-time "Favorite Love Stories." And she is a 1999 finalist for the Career Achievement Award from Romantic Times.

Felicia will have novellas in two more anthologies published by St. Martin’s Press. In the spring, look for Island Magic which has romances taking place on islands, and Della’s House of Styles, an anthology that will return readers to the hair salon introduced in the best seller Rosie’s Curl and Weave.
