I own his disc, "Ancient Voices," by Michael Vetter and the Overtone Choir. Anyone who likes Hykes would like this disc! I have just discovered the following site which has many releases I am unfamiliar with: the works of Michael Vetter (in Greman, sorry) Sheila Chandra's exquisite vocal style is perhaps more beautiful than Hykes or Vetter. More soulful than technical. Her work on RealWorld label is perfection. I highly recommend "ABoneCroneDrone." A disc I never tire of. Sheila Chandra website Jonathan Goldman utilizes overtone singing in his work much of which includes synthesis and percussion. Of all the aforementioned artists, I would say that the one disc of overtone singing essential for those on a spiritual path is Goldman's "Chakra Chants," in which each piece is keyed to a chakra tone. Use mantra from several traditions also. go to Jonathan Goldman's website Jim Cole is a rising star in the overtone singing realm. With his choir, Spectral Voices, he has released several impressive discs all of which I can recommend. He has also just released a collab- oration cd with Alpha Wave Movement which I am excited about. Go To Jim Cole's website Tom Kenyon has made many recordings of sound healing using primarily voice. I have only two -- The Gandharva Experience and Soma -- and they are both great examples of the powerful therapeutic properties of voice. Soma also employs brainwave entrainment technology. Astarius is a Reiki Master who records the most effective Reiki music i have ever heard. He chants the names of the Reiki powers as mantras. I highly recommend his recent, "Reiki Temple Chants," to anyone working with Reiki. "Spirit Rap" is a great ascension cd. "Vibrational Healing Ascension Current" has the kind of title i need in my collection, plus innovative didgeridoo work and fine mantric work.
