We welcome and highly encourage anyone with an interest in these topics to contribute as much or as little as they wish to the GMDQUP. We intend to make it as easy as possible for those who wish to contribute to do so.

The criteria for participation are simply this: Have I ever lived in or visited an urban place (street, square, plaza, courtyard, or other urban place) that I really enjoyed being in a great deal? Or have I seen pictures of an urban place that I believe I would very much like to visit? If so, simply send us an image of that place along with a text blurb describing what you like so much about the place. Send as many or as few as you like. If you wish to have your name credited with your submitted images and writings, it will be provided.

Scanned photographs, digital photos, scanned drawings, paintings, any media that can be converted to .jpg or .jpeg or .gif are acceptable.

Please scan or have scanned your images. Try to limit pixel size to about 640x480, or just try to keep the image file size to about 50kb or less. We'll post larger images but due to the 11MB size limit of geocities we need to keep the pictures relatively small for now. That should be OK because most 640x480-size pictures look just fine, and are fairly large on most monitors.

Write in the e-mail message your text blurb that says what you like so much about the urban place that you are submitting. Then simply attach your image(s) to the e-mail.

Other types of participation are also very welcome. You may submit articles, essays, opinions, ideas, and even suggestions for modifying any of the documents already on the GMDQUP site, for example, the statement of purpose, the preface, the defining principles . . .
