The sun begins
to rise, as night turns to day
Blues skies with
not a cloud in sight
Waves break gently
upon the sandy shore
Where do the
waves begin, no one knows
But die upon
the shore , changing the sands of time
Breaking waves
are music to my ears
The crests dancing
in the breeze
Mother Nature
offers a bounty for all to see
Just have to
take the time to seek
Take time and
ride the waves , See where one will travel
To many shores
I am sure , Some more picturesque than the last
Some with rock
faces that say "Don't venture here"
The sky is turning
black with storm
The waves no
longer gentle but become a fury of Mother Nature
Waves now crushing
upon the shores changing the landscape of yesterday
Battering my
body against the rocks
And from above
a hand reaches down
And pulls me
safely up
When I look up
to see who offered me a hand
It was you "My
Friend"
