All About The Animal Kingdom

And Little bit About My Love of Animals

Like many creatures on this planet, such as us, the lovebirds(which I will talk about them on the next page), the dogs, cats and many other animals on this beautiful planet that exist, and not to forget also the parakeets are the creatures of our wisdom. I love all the animals on this planet and I live with 15 parakeets ( 7 female, 8 males, which are for right now. More will develope in the near future,as I breed all the time and they need some time off from their nest box..), I also have two lovebirds,3 bettas (1 female-blue,2 male: 1 blue, 1 red). And also at the moment I have 20 guppies (which right now while they are growing, some show their gender. 17 female and 3 male). Now click below on the web pages to view my kingdom....Some are pictures of which the parakeets are in their home. I never use the word "cage" and every day I let them stay outside all day long until bedtime. And when it is time for their nap, I let them for themselves to get into their safety home, where they do their daily chores when needed to. I never force them in. But I tell them politely to go in, because of their safety. They are smart creatures. They even open cages doors, so I have a lock on the door as you can see, just for their safety. And they are still happy and joyfull when I let them out. They call up on me always and when, before I arrive home from where ever I'd been. They sense it and they chirp and sing. Birds are marvalous creatures. And every morning, if you tell them the night before to wake you up at certain hour of the day, they will set their little clocks and they will remember it, and they will wake you up for certain. If you notice, parakeets are distinguishable by the color above the beak on the cere. In males is blue, but sometimes that isn't the case, it could be light brown or very light pink-purple. In females is brown, it ranges from light to dark as the parakeet matures. But in female parakeets the cere can be the same in the case that the bird is from a long line different breeding lines, that means Lutino and Albino, which have red eyes also and are white cloth and yellow like the sun. I will discuss about Genetics on the next pages about this discoveries. As you can see, parakeets come in different colors and different sizes. But they are all the same. English Parakeets are the same parakeets as American parakeets, though the sizes are different. English budgies are slightly bigger in size than their cousins that are kept in United States. They are also kept as show birds, and most breeders keep them as pets and good companions. I have 10 parakeets and I bred two of them which produced very nice young ones. If you, want to breed birds, they are good starter love of joy. Mine just happened by an accident. I got a nest box for their enjoy ment to feel homey and I started with two budgies, male and a female. But they were good friends. I started breeding parakeets out of joy, not for sell or profit. And I love my birds. I will tell you more on the many subjects of breeding and keeping birds and especially parakeets on the next pages.
