Is it true that ones mind and practical thoughts can be over taken by ones heart?
When the words " I am not ready to be in love" are spoken to someone who finds themselves falling in love, a heart is broken.
Yet when the phone rings and that same unloving voice says " I just wanted to hear you." Ones heart starts to smile in confusion.
Could it be that he is scared? That he wants to run and ignore his heart inorder to follow his practical thoughts, or could it be that she who is falling in love is ignoring her practical thoughts and hoping with her confused heart?

Our love has died leaving us with no pride. We yell and insult in the room where we used to make love. Lets face it we no longer fit together like a glove.
Our bond has been broken and should not be mended. For when we have tried to heal it in the past, the memories take us back to the sweet times and the love we once shared. Yet as fast as we remember the good times the bad rush back.
So to keep our love of life alive, its time to let our togetherness die.

I look up and you are still there. I can not erase your memory because you refuse to let me. This friendship is killing me.
I tell you that I have moved on and " I " have. It is my heart that is still stuck on you. I tell myself that this is for the better. That the pain would have been much worse if that part of our relationship would have gone on any longer.
Yet what do I do with the new kind of pain? The kind that hits me like a chain reaction. I see you day after day and we go over the same things and apologize for those things that went wrong.
When will the apologies end and the new friendship begin? Only we can control that. You and I need to decide what to do with this bond we know we have, a bond which needs to breathe.
