Confusion

How can learning be so confusing
To meet someone not a casual fling
When you settle in and feel this is right
You meet another that begins your plight

You feel for one and you feel for the other
Which one do you pause, which one do you take further
A simple path has brought a fork in the road
So now which one leads to your humble abode

You yearn to travel down both paths, yes you do
But should you make a choice, and if so who
You seem perplexed but somehow you do know
Just because you wish it, won't make it so

You will continue with both, cause you want to see
You just want to make sure, if it is meant to be
For this is called dating, a very simple word
But a difficult process, so I have heard

Relationships take time, so enter with some fear
When you find your True Love, you will jump up and cheer
But what do you do if you want both of them
Or you don't want to hurt, the other her or him

The answer is not easy, just follow your heart
You will find your way, cause you know you are smart
You want me to tell you, just who you should choose
Well, I'm sorry that's your choice, so I refuse.
