Net Friends

A Net Friend in someways is like any other
But to prove the difference I shall go further
You can speak to them each and every day
They will listen intently to every word you say

You can get your Net Friends together in one place
And in a way still talk to them face to face
Almost impossible in the so called Real Life
Without causing great conflict and a little strife

In times of need, your true Net Friends are there
Showing the kindness, the compassion, that they care
They will even tell you, what you don't want to hear
They know as your friend, you may need a kick in the rear

As you share your lives day in and day out, it seems
That you learn of each others hopes and their dreams
Net Friends, are much closer, to you, can you see
But to know this, you must have been one, like me

For a person who has never had a Net Friend
To aid in your comprehension, my knowledge, I lend
We stick by each other, and as one, we do speak
Just normal folks, with attachments, rare and unique

All that we ask, is you realize our special bond
And know that for each of our Net Friends, we are fond
I hope that in someway this will explain what I mean
We are all, just people, whose idea of Net Life is keen.
