To describe a Perfect Love will take some time
But I know you will understand it with my rhyme
To begin with, Love, is not just a word
A million times over you have heard
It is the cause and effect you display
Not just once but each and everyday
The knowing and caring, holding and sharing
But not bound by the exchange of a ring

It is the yearning to be by each others side
Your hope's and dreams to each other confide
Picking up each other when the day has been bad
Never parting ways if one of you is mad
Enjoying the times when everything just goes right
Making Love is so special, please let it last all night
When you know what they'll say before they even try
You will laugh together and then you will sigh

For Love has its ups and downs this is so true
And it doesn't mean you will never be blue
For with Love sometimes comes a broken heart
And it seems all is lost, your world torn apart
But Love is ever flowing and soon you'll find another
Yes it will happen, it will definitely occur
Be true to your heart and your feelings will show
And if the Love is right you will absolutely know.
