Sara's Nook

My daugther was born 14 weeks premature, and weighed only 1 lb 6 oz.
She remained in the hospital for about 3 months, and I was by her side
each and everyday, sometimes for as much as 18 hours. I never wanted
her to be alone, plus I couldn't stand being away for any length of
time. The nurses would have to "kick me out" to get me to leave and
get some rest. Thank goodness for Ronald McDonald Houses.

While at her side, I wrote many poems about my feelings at the time.
I have listed them here, for you to read and enjoy, if you wish:
No Rush
Sara In The Looking Glass
N.I.C.U. Rollercoaster
The Unsung Heroes Of N.I.C.U.
Newborns
Unexpected Bonds
