Nice guys finish last is what they say
I guess that's the price that I will pay
Being a gentleman just does not work
It seems she'll fall faster for a jerk
Someone who simply will treat her bad
Leave her broken hearted and oh so sad

A guy who is late and just doesn't call
Leaving her at home to worry and bawl
Who shows his Love then takes it away
He really does Love her he will say
He treats her like dirt but she will stay
Then he'll find another and her heart must pay

The nice guy is more like a brother
He shall get no chance to Love or romance her
He would Love her deep and with great passion
He would see no other yes I mean none
Send her flowers and give breakfast in bed
To cheat on her he would sooner be dead

But the man who takes chances is of more interest
The nice guy is too clingy and just such a pest
To be hung out to dry is her great desire
Yes something to hunger for and admire
If I must drop to his level to have my chance
Forget it here is where I make my stance.
