Friends from Childhood

Angela Meyer (Caulkins)

This is my life long friend Angela. We've known each other ever since the 6th grade and have grown-up together. She graduated from Pittsburg State May, 2001 and is now living and working in Wichita. Here she is with her husband Brian at Rocky Moutain National Park. Their wedding was November 2002. Her brother married my sister so we get to see each other a little more often now then we did while we were in college. She was also one of my bridemaids for my wedding and I was her Maitron of Honor at her wedding. I miss being able to hang out with her. She is an awesome friend!

Derek Thomas

Derek is one of the smartest guys I know and a faithful friend. I've known him since the 8th grade and we've been through a lot together. He's another friend that I know I will have for life. Derek and his wife, Meaghan, were married July 2004 in St. Louis, MO. I was their cantor. Now he's got something else to think about besides sandwhiches. =)I believe he is opening a Java Daves coffee shop in the Joplin area.

Jason, Amanda, and MacKenzie Martin (Cranor)

Amanda and I have known each other since we were children. We went through school together. Our senior year of high school, we both had the leads in the production of "The Miracle Worker." I was Helen and she was Annie. Since college, it's been hard for us to keep in touch, but we try to write each other when we can.

Jerad Delacour

Jerad is a wonderful friend to have around. The cool thing about him is we went to the same city to go to college. We orginally lived only 15 minutes apart in two close towns. We are fellow trumpet players and we keep in touch as much as we can. It's nice to have someone to talk to who grew up in the same area you did. We relate well to each other. I sure miss seeing him.

The Jaimez Family

Here is Bill, Mary, and Elijah Jaimez. They are good friends of my family. Elijah is only 8 months old in this picture. He was born April, 1999. He's a little muffin. :)

A few years later, Israel was born. Here they are having fun at the park.
