Garver Supply Company

These were taken while scouting sometime last summer. The building is pretty isolated from the rest of the neighborhood, so no one pays much attention to it. However, it's used by Olbrich Gardens to store plants and equipment so all of the doors are either boarded or padlocked.

The building in the foreground is being renovated by MATC's wood technics program. I'm not sure what its significance is.

The back side of the main building.

Getting in required an interesting climb onto the roof and through this window. (inside looking out) The wall below the window was missing enough chunks of brick to make lots of easy hand/foot holds.

What's left of the roof. I've never known dripping water sound that much like somone moving around in another part of the building. It wasn't just paranoia either.

Strangely, that room had no way of getting to the ground floor. That wasn't an issue for us because a massive chunk of the floor was missing. The floor below was littered with decaying floorboards, unidentifiable refuse, a picnic table, and a large filing cabinet.

Looking up though the floor.

The door on the far right is blocked by a pallet of large rocks. It's the only inside connection to that third of the building, but we didn't feel like moving several hundred punds of rock to get in.

This was sitting on it's side in the middle of a large room. Very cool looking, very odd.

The overexposed streaks are actually a flash. Xilo walked around and manually triggered a handheld flash three times to cover the whole room.

Much of the walls were covered with pathetic tags. Someone(s) need to be flogged.
