Project Title:  Passport Control System (PCS)

 

Description:  

 

Passport Control System is an online system starting from receiving an application with proper fees to the delivery of passport to the applicant.  Status enquiry both online Tele enquiry system (IVR) and web enabled status enquiry (offline) system have been implemented.

 

Role:              Database Administrator

• Responsible for monitoring database growth and add datafiles based on growth, moving data from production to test & development databases.
• Involved in tuning database and tuning complex SQL statements
• Responsible for taking backup of databases on various clusters.
• Responsible for security of database and mentoring developers to write stored packages/functions/procedures.

It is a project on pre export benefit given to the exporters. EPCGS monitors the exporters and export details and matches import with export.

Revenue Management Systems is a prestigious project undertaken by National Informatics Centre (NIC), Ministry of Information & Technology, Govt. of India, West Bengal State Unit. This involves total consumer bill generation, cash the project receipts, payment matching, defaulters notice, disconnection notice for Low Tension and Bulk Consumers for West Bengal State Electricity Board.
