I fell in love with Daryl in 1985 when I won the "Big Bam Boom" album at the Pontiac dealer where we bought a new Fiero. I'd heard H & O music many times on the radio, but didn't know who they were until I won the album. I became an instant fan! Wasn't til 1991 that I got to see H & O live at "Star Plaza Theater" in Merrileville, IN. My new husband took me to see them because he knew how much I loved them. That was the most memorable night of my life, and I'll always treasure it! I just saw them gain this year in June, same place, fabulous concert!! I love the duo, but Daryl is so special to me because his songs helped me get through some very difficult times throughout the last 12 years. He's the absolute BEST! p.s. I saw them here in Atlanta in August on their new tour. They were awesome. I only wish I had bett r seats. I really am envious of your experience with Daryl. That is so cool! I just found this website by following several links -- it never showed up on my "Daryl Hall" searches. Thanks so much for creating this website, Robin. He is the sexiest man alive, and his voice is mesmerizing!! Your explanation of meeting Daryl and h s family describes my dream! I met them in 1988 on their Ooh Yeah! tour, and I just got a chance to meet them again a couple of weeks ago, on August 28 in Atlanta. My husband is in radio, and his station was one of the first to play "Promise" (with a bi nudge from me -- I told him he had to play it the day after they got it at the station). Anyway, we got to meet Brian and David (PUSH), who are very down to earth, friendly and just wonderful! My meeting with Daryl was fabulous, although it didn't last nearly long enough! Brian was laughing at me because I couldn't quit mooning over Daryl -- I was entranced! Robin, Your website is a well overdue tribute to Daryl who happens to be the sexiest man around with vocals that will reach deep into your soul. I have been a fan since the beginning, way back in 1973 when I heard "She's Gone" for the very first time and got ho ked for life. I've grown up with both guys, but there is just something about Daryl that overwhelms a person. I am SO ENVIOUS of you getting to meet and talk to "the man" and someday I hope I will get the same opportunity (right now it's a "Missed Oppor unity"). You are so lucky, girl. Robin, I'm so glad u started this page! It's about time Daryl has a Web page of his own. Ive been a fan of Hall & Oates since the voices album and of course I'm a huge Daryl fan. To this day I still don't feel Daryl gets enough credit 4 his solo efforts. I mean, these r such great albums and they never seem to do as well as they should. Just ordered "Can't Stop Dreaming" from RSI. Heard some clips of it on one of the site and it sounded incredible! Well, keep up the good work!!!

I've just signed on to the H&O mailing list..I'm having a great time reading everyone's comments. I used to think I was the only old timer out there who has been a fan of H&O since the beginning. I didn't realize there are also as many serious fans out there today as there were several years ago. I'm the only holdout among my friends. They do not understand the attraction!
