Out of Gas by Edward L. LaBane Hidden Heart

Where do you put love you can never express?
There is an old truck in the back forty maybe there.
But even there I am afraid it shows and you will know
Feelings sometimes ooze out the in the guarded words I use
Tenderness finds it's way down a meandering stream
Elation climbs the mountains and soars above
Did I let it show dear lady what I tried to hide
I so desperately tried to seal inside from you
So rare is friendship rarer still
When bound to a heart
So pure
