Planed, designed, implemented and managed

* UCP Electrical Engineering campus network.
* PGC MIS Web server link consisting of two radio links, 2 Cisco 1600 routers and 1
   Cisco 2621 router.
* Cisco 2611 Router for Faculty of Information Technology with bandwidth shaping.
* Project Garden Town (Faculty of Electrical Engineering / Faculty of Commerce
   campus) for UCP new campus.
   Project was completed in a period of three months. First two months were hands on
   training of planning, designing and implementation of network equipment. The last
   month was hands on training for students on different Microsoft and open source
   solutions.
   Project consisted of 15 student internees, 10 network staff members, 6 Faculty of
   Information Technology computer labs each equipped with 50 computer systems,
   server room with 17  servers, 2 computer labs for UCP Faculty of Commerce,
   network access to local intranet as well as internet for faculty and other staff
   members.
*  Network strategy at Faculty of Information Technology campus garden town.
* Media Server for Live audio video stream to Karachi via internet.
* 5.7 GHz Radio link between PGCNET ISP and Electrical Engineering campus.
* 2.4 GHz Radio link between Electrical Engineering campus and PGC MIS.
* Faculty of Information Technology OFFICIAL MAIL SERVER running Exchange Server
   2003 on Windows 2003 Server with OWA 2003 and squirrel mail web interface.
* Microsoft  ISA Server 2004 with content filtering and Real time monitoring for
   Faculty of Information Technology Faculty, / Staff and Student Internet Access.
* Faculty of Information Technology OFFICIAL WEB SERVER running IIS 6.0 on
   Windows 2003 Server with PERL  and PHP support.
* Faculty of Information Technology student FTP / Faculty server through which
   students and faculty access their  network drives, with FTP client or web based file
   manager.
* Planned and implemented Webs Web hosting Server for in house use running on
   2003 server with IIS. This supports ASP / ASP.NET/ JSP / PHP / CGI & PERL and
   FrontPage 2002 Extensions.
* Red Hat Linux 9 with Squid proxy server.
* Jabber Instant Messenger server on Fedora Core2.
* Multi router traffic grapher using RRD tool.
* More than 40 F.I.T Faculty web sites.

* As Network Administrator, my responsibilities include administration and
   management of network.

* Managed NT based network that comprised of multiple Windows NT Domains with
   Windows 95, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 2000 Server, Advance Server
   and Windows NT Workstation as Workstations.

* Configured NT servers to provide all the facilities such as SQL server, IIS4, Proxy
   Server2.0 and Exchange Server 5.

* Configuration of ISDN router.

* Installation, configuration and administration of remote access service, client
   monitoring and troubleshooting RAS links.

* Administration and Troubleshooting of Exchange Server 5.

* Administration and Troubleshooting of Proxy Server2.0.

* Administration and Troubleshooting of ISDN router.

* Installation and Configuration of Windows 2000 Pro, Server and Advance Server as workstations.

* As Manager Information Technology, my responsibilities include administration and
   management of ISECTS (Islamabad Stock Exchange Computerized Trading
   System), Installation and management of client server model, trouble-shooting
   both software and hardware and defining the architecture and design of its solution
   based on the chosen technology, directing and managing the team to achieve the
   goals. Under the technical leadership, the company had accomplished its mission to
   develop cost-effective, scalable and customizable computerized trading system.

* Planned thin-client solution with the integration of UNISYS.

* Provided training to ISE staff for the new systems.

* Installed and configured file and database sever for internal ISE staff usage. The
   servers were implemented on MS Windows NT 4.0 and MS Windows NT 3.51
   running Citrix Winframe 8.0.

* Installed and configured FTP and Web servers for internal office use. Running on MS
   Windows NT 4.0.

* Provided internal office communication by implementation of internal office chat
   server.
* Developed and enhanced Islamabad Stock Exchange databases which are

a)    Members (Brokers) Database.

b)    Letter Tracking Database.

c)     Defaulters Database.

d)    Redesigned Islamabad Stock Exchange Clearinghouse Cash and Stock Record Database.

* As network Engineer, responsibility for providing technical support of PCs, networks,
   client-server model networks.

   allocation.
