The Tivon Chamber Choir was founded in 1974. Its 60 members are residents of Tivon (near Haifa) and nearby Kibbutzim and Moshavim.

The repertoire consists of works of the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods and also modern Israeli music and folk songs.

The choir's activities to date include performances throughout Israel and Europe: Spain - April 1985, France and Germany - April 1989, "11th Europe Cantat" in Spain (July 1991), the 12th in Danmark - July 1994 and "The International Singing Week" in Loughborough - England - (July 1999).

Participation in international music festivals held in Israel:
Jerusalem - December 1987;
Acre Vocaliza - April 1988, 1991;
Zimriya in Jerusalem - August 1992, 1995, 1998, 2001, 2004(Shavuot).
Abu Ghosh International Choral Music Festival - May 1993, October 1998, (The 1998 performance was broadcast live on Israeli Radio);June 2000;The Choir participated in the International Choral Music Festival in Abu Ghosh - May 2002. (Shavuot).
International Choir Competition "Shirat - Hayamim" (Interkultur), October 1996 - awarded first place among Israeli choirs.

The choir appeared on Israeli TV in August 1992.On The I.B.C(Israeli Broadcast - Reshet Alef Radio station)- also broadcast a live concert of the Choir in July 1999. The Choir participated in the International Choral Music Festival in Abu Ghosh - May 2002. (Shavuot).

Tivon Chamber Choir is a member of the Israeli Choral Organization and the E.C. European Federation of Young Choirs.
