Born on November 14, 1954, and raised in Kalamata, Greece, Yanni Hrisomallis (pronounced Chry-soma-llis) followed other paths before his music became his primary focus.
He came to the United States in 1972 and attended the University of Minnisota, earning a B.A. in psychology. After college, Yanni was the keyboardist for a Minneapolis-based rock band called Chameleon. What happened after that is history.
Yanni becomes the first artist ever to perform a major musical concert at India's Taj Mahal and Forbidden City, China. The Taj Mahal was lit at night for the first time in history for Yanni's performance.
His music delivers charm, rythem, encouragement, love and passion. No matter how stressed you are just put the CD in the system and the music takes you to the another world, A world of Passion.

One of the greatest "Ghazal" singers, born in February, 1941 in Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan, INDIA.
Jagjit's ghazals deliver passion, serenity, pain in love, deepness, grief, love and a reminder of one's own personal past. His voice, a true gift of God has the pain that an "Aashiq" feels after loosing his beloved, the love that a mother seeks for her child, the tranquility that a "saaqi" delivers, the willing fear that a boy has when she walks in the room. His deep voice holds the key to perhaps every emotion locked within oneself. Best Gift I have ever considered so far is CD's and Cassettes presented to me from my nears and dears.
